Derek
Brumfield
Principal & Director of Client Relations
Derek Brumfield, registered principal and
co-founder of The Kelt Group, LLC (TKG), played an integral
role in the development of the firm. He manages a variety
of business operations for the firm and specializes in relations
with both current and prospective clients. Mr. Brumfield works
closely with Mr. Kelt in executing trades and managing portfolios.
Mr. Brumfield is a native of Clovis, NM. He obtained a B.A.
in Economics from the University of New Mexico and served
as president of the Association of Undergraduate Economics
Students at UNM. Mr. Brumfield got his start in the investment
industry in 1997, while still a student, as a broker’s
assistant at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Albuquerque, NM.
Upon graduation, he worked as an equity trader at Fidelity
Investments in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining TKG, Mr. Brumfield
was a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch in Scottsdale,
AZ. He is a resident of Santa Barbara, CA.
